CORFU. Thousands of seasonal workers have been left without unemployment benefit or have received very little financial support and are struggling to make ends meet.
There was a protest in Corfu Town on Monday morning with tourism and catering workers, tourist guides and seasonal workers who have been left without unemployment benefit or have received very little financial support and are struggling to make ends meet.
They are demanding support without conditions and mandatory re-employment this year in the businesses where they worked in 2019.
The protest march took place together with the march for International Women's Day.
