Fire Department visits Mt. Pantokrator in preparation for summer

CORFU. Inspection of road network, water tanks and fire hydrants.
Teams from the Fire Department and North Corfu Municipality conducted an inspection on Mt. Pantokrator on Wednesday 3 March ahead of the fire season.
Corfu Fire Chief Nikolaos Kolovos and Head of Thinalia Fire Service Efstathios Kardakaris took part in the inspection along with North Corfu Deputy Mayor for Cleansing, Mechanical Equipment, Civil Protection and Green Services Theofanis Skebris and Civil Protection Supervisor Giorgos Mavropoulos.
The following were inspected:
- The current condition of the road network and any work that needs to be done.
- Water tanks
It was considered necessary to have additional water tanks and to carry out maintenance on the fire hydrants.
