44 fines in Corfu on Saturday and Sunday - Zakynthos cafe fined €3,000

CORFU. A total of 44 fines were issued in Corfu and another 31 in the other Ionian Islands on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Saturday 13 February the owner of a cafe and mini market in Zakynthos was fined €3,000 for allowing customers to remain on the premises. The 4 customers were also fined €300 each.
On 13 and 14 February fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 14 people in Corfu, 4 in Zakynthos, 3 in Cephalonia and 2 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 30 in Corfu, 11 in Zakynthos, 6 in Lefkada and 5 in Cephalonia.
