42 fines in Corfu on Wednesday

CORFU. A total of 42 fines were issued in Corfu and another 27 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 3 February.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 3 February fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 15 people in Corfu, 10 in Zakynthos, 4 in Lefkada and 1 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 27 in Corfu, 8 in Cephalonia, 3 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
In Ithaka the owner of a cafe-bar was arrested and fined €3,000 for allowing 7 customers in the premises. The customers were also fined €300 each.
