CORFU. A total of 29 fines were issued in Corfu and another 12 in the other Ionian Islands on Monday 1 February.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 1 February fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 10 people in Corfu, 4 in Zakynthos and 1 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 19 in Corfu, 3 in Cephalonia, 2 in Zakynthos and 2 in Lefkada.
