CORFU. There were fewer than 100 vaccinations at the hospital today Saturday. Nationwide the lack of vaccines after four weeks has slowed down the vaccination of health workers and over-80s.
The vaccination rate is slowing down - there have been 2,149 in Corfu since 11 January and a total of 269,106 throughout Greece.
Just 96 people were vaccinated at Corfu Hospital vaccination centre on Saturday.
In Europe and worldwide the number of vaccines distributed has not been in line with what was agreed, leading to governments taking action against the pharmaceutical companies.
Doctors and other specialists have told Enimerosi that at this rate the desired community immunity will take a long time coming.
