CORFU. A total of 33 fines were issued in Corfu and another 14 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 27 January.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 27 January fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 16 people in Corfu, 2 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 17 in Corfu, 5 in Zakynthos, 4 in Cephalonia and 2 in Lefkada.
