Directive for essential domestic flights only extended until 25 January

ATHENS. The current directive applying to all the country΄s airports allowing domestic flights only for essential travel has been extended to Monday, January 25, according to a new Notam issued by the Greek Civil Aviation Authority.
The Greek Civil Aviation Authority, in order to protect the public from the pandemic, has extended its directive for domestic flights until 06:00 on Monday 25 January. The directive applies to all commercial, general and business aviation.
At all Greek airports only essential travel is allowed - healthcare system flights and related medical flights, emergency, state official, military, cargo, and fire-fighting flights. Flights for humanitarian reasons and Frontex (EU border service) flights are also excluded from the directive as well as for objective family reasons and returning to one's permanent residence.
Ferry flights - returning with only the crew - are also allowed.
