CORFU. A total of 25 fines were issued in Corfu and another 7 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 6 January.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 6 January fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 6 people in Corfu and 1 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 19 in Corfu, 4 in Zakynthos and 2 in Cephalonia.
