30 fines in Corfu on Tuesday

CORFU. A total of 30 fines were issued in Corfu and another 17 in the other Ionian Islands on Tuesday 5 January.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 5 January fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 11 people in Corfu, 4 in Zakynthos, 3 in Cephalonia and 1 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 17 in Corfu, 5 in Zakynthos, 3 in Lefkada and 1 in Cephalonia.
There were also 2 violations in Corfu regarding the number of people allowed in cars with fines of €150 being imposed.
