CORFU. A total of 22 fines were issued in Corfu and another 14 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 9 December.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 9 December fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 9 people in Corfu, 2 in Zakyntho and 2 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for movement violations as follows: 13 in Corfu, 8 in Zakynthos and 2 in Cephalonia.
