Traffic lights being repaired in Alykes - no turn-offs allowed at junction

CORFU. The traffic lights are being repaired at the section of Eth. Paleokastritsa Rd by the former 2nd Tax Office.
The Deputy Regional Governors for Corfu and Infrastructure Melita Andrioti and Manolis Orfanoudakis announced that, for safety reasons, the gap between the traffic islands by the former 2nd Tax Office will be closed off temporarily until the traffic lights have been repaired.
- Those travelling from Corfu Town towards the north will have to use the next junction at Agia Ekaterina if they wish to turn off.
- Those travelling from the north towards Corfu Town and those coming from Spyrou Peroulaki Rd (Potamos) will have to use the next junction at Ekati to turn off.
"We would like to ask for drivers' understanding for this temporary measure, which we hope will only be required for a very short time," says the announcement. "We hope to solve the technical problem quickly and ask members of the public to follow the measure for the safety of all those using Eth. Paleokastritsa Rd."
