ATHENS. Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias posted a ΄reality check΄ for young people on Twitter.
He said that even young people, who consider themselves to be invulnerable, were hit by the virus and simultaneously became spreaders to their loved ones. This is because the characteristic of this virus is how easily and quickly it spreads.
As a reminder, during the first wave of the pandemic the average age of cases was over 60.
Translation of tweet below:
The danger with coronavirus is how easily it spreads.
This is the case even if you are young and think yourself invulnerable.
The average age of cases in August has now dropped to 36.
