CORFU. An elderly man and a woman were injured and had to be taken to hospital. The first was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters.
There was a road accident in Liapades just before 20:00 on Wednesday 29 July. Two people were injured and were taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital.
Two cars were involved in a heavy collision, trapping an elderly man in one of the vehicles. Three fire engines came to the scene with six firefighters, who freed the trapped man.
Along with the man, a woman passenger in one of the cars was also injured and they were both taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital.
