Coronavirus tests on direct UK flights to Greece all negative so far

ATHENS. 2,803 tests were conducted on direct UK flight arrivals on 15 and 16 July and all were negative - Two passengers tested positive who had come from London via Paris and Larnaca.
The results were negative on all the tests carried out on passengers on the first days following the reopening of Greek airports to direct UK flights.
On 15 July 1,366 tests were carried out on passengers travelling directly to Greece from the UK and 1,437 on 16 July. All the results from the first two days were negative.
These included flights from Birmingham and Manchester - areas with a high number of cases.
There were two positive cases from UK arrivals in Greece coming via Paris and Larnaca. Contact tracing has been carried out and the two passengers are in isolation.
The test are continuing and the next results will be announced in the next few days.
