CORFU. The auxiliary doctor has been appointed on a 3-year contract - Pap tests no longer need to be sent to Patras.
Corfu Hospital Administration announced that the auxiliary cytologist took up her appointment today, Monday 22 June, on a 3-year contract.
With the appontment of the new doctor Pap tests and diagnostic samples will now no longer need to be sent to Patras 'Rio' University Hospital and will be examined at Corfu Hospital.
The announcement said, "We wish the newly-appointed doctor-cytologist every success and we welcome her to the team at our hospital."
