Municipal Art Gallery to reopen

CORFU. Following the opening of archaeological sites on 18 May, other cultural venues will open to the public again on Monday 15 June.
After three months' closure, Central Corfu Municipal Art Gallery will reopen on Tuesday 16 June with the normal opening hours:
Tuesday - Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00 (Mondays and public holidays closed)
Initially, the following will be open:
- The Permanent Collection with works of Ionian art from the 16th century.
- The Yiallinas Exhibition, the duration of which has been extended.
- Shop and Reading Room.
The Temporary Exhibitions Hall, Colonnade and Art Hall will open a few days later with exhibitions which will be announced.
All the safety measures as oulined by the Ministry of Culture will be in force:
- At least 1.5 metres distance between people in outdoor areas and 2 metres indoors. It is mandatory for visitors to wear non-surgical masks.
- On official guided tourssocial distancing is strictly adhered to and there must not be more than 8 people in the group.
According to the Ministry of Culture decision, cultural activities and live events will recommence on 15 July but only in open spaces.
