ATHENS. The Ministry of Health announced that there were 3 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 today.
The total number of cases is now 2,906, of which 55.2% are males. 630 (21.7%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,658 (57.1%) are from contacts with known cases.
16 patients remain intubated, with an average age of 66. 4 of them (25%) are females and 81.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 102 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
There were two deaths today, taking the total to 175, of which 52 (29.7%) were females. The average age was 76 and 94.9% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
To date 170,467 tests have been carried out.
