ATHENS. 19 of the 21 new cases were in a Roma community in Larissa - Total number of fatalities is now 169 and the total number of cases 2,873 - 19 patients intubated in ICUs.
Today's update on coronavirus in Greece from the Ministry of Health:
There were21 new confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 in Greece today, 19 of which were connected with known cases. The total number of cases is now 2,873, 55.2% of which are males. 612 (21.3%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,446 (50.3%) are from contacts with known cases.
19 patients are intubated, with an average age of 72. 6 of them (31.6%) are females. 89.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
98 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
There was one death today, taking the total to 169, 49 (29%) of whom were females. The average age was 76 and 94.1% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
To date 147,958 tests have been carried out.
