No violations in the Ionian Islands - all wearing masks where they should

ATHENS. Police checks are being carried out throughout the country to ensure the measures against the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Friday 8 May there were 20 violations of the measures for social distancing and wearing masks, each of which was fined 150 Euros.
Attica - 10
North Aegean - 6
Thessaloniki - 2
Mainland Greece - 1
Crete - 1
Since the measure came into force there have been 175 violations.
There were 116 violations nationwide regarding movement outside the region of permanent residency which were each fined 150 Euros.
Central Macedonia - 38
Thessaloniki - 27
Epirus - 15
Attica - 14
Eastern Macedonia & Thrace - 8
Western Greece - 6
Thessaly - 4
Mainland Greece - 3
Peloponnese - 1
Since the measure came into force on Monday 4 May there have been 530 violations.
There were 7 violations of the law against operating cafes, bars, eateries etc and 8 arrests. Since the measure came into force on Thursday 12 March there have been 592 violations nationwide and 572 arrests.
