When are masks compulsory and when are they optional?

ATHENS. At today΄s update Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias clarified once again when the use of masks will be compulsory.
From Monday masks will be compulsory for members of the public in the following places:
- Public transport and taxis.
- Lifts
- Hospitals, surgeries and diagnostic centres.
Masks will be compulsory for staff in the following places:
- Public transport and taxis.
- Supermarkets and food shops at counters with unpackaged foods.
- Hospitals, surgeries and diagnostic centres.
- Hairdressers and beauty centres.
Everywhere else masks are strongly recommended but are not compulsory.
