NATO helicopter crashes in sea near Cephalonia

According to reports, the Canadian helicopter which was taking part in the NATO SNMG2 exercise crashed in the sea west of Cephalonia.
According to reports, one of the six members of the crew of the NATO helicopter, which disappeared from the radar over the sea near Cephalonia, has been found dead. According to the same reports debris from the helicopter was found 50 nautical miles west of Cephalonia, within the Rome FIR (Flight Information Region).
The helicopter was with a Canadian frigate which is part of NATO’s standing maritime immediate reaction force in the South Mediterranean.
