ATHENS. The death toll from COVID-19 is now 130 and the total number of cases is 2,490. 48 patients remain intubated in ICUs.
There were five deaths from coronavirus and 27 new confirmed cases in Greece today, Friday 24 April, according to the daily update from the Ministry of Health representative Prof. Sotiris Tsiodras.
The total number of deaths is now 130 and the total number of cases is 2,490. 55.6% of the cases are males. 580 are arrivals from abroad and 1,160 are from contacts with known cases.
48 patients are intubated in ICUs with an average age of 67. 88% of these patients have underlying conditions or are over 70. To date 60 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
61,407 tests have been carried out.
