CORFU. There were 1,166 lockdown violations throughout Greece on Wednesday 22 April.
Police are continuing with daily checks to ensure the lockdown measures are being adhered to.
On Wednesday 22 April there were 1,166 lockdown violations throughout Greece, which all received fines.
Attica - 506
Thessaloniki - 128
Western Greece - 77
Crete - 76
Central Macedonia - 76
Ionian Islands - 58
Peloponnese - 52
Thessaly - 51
North Aegean - 41
Mainland - 31
South Aegean - 30
Eastern Macedonia & Thrace - 28
Epirus - 11
Western Macedonia - 1
Since the measures came into force on Monday 23 March there have been 49,311 violations throughout Greece, which have each been fined 150 Euros.
The police checks are ongoing in order to safeguard public health.
