Steady improvement in condition of Corfu patient in Ioannina

IOANNINA. According to the latest update from Ioannina University Hospital, the only patient from Corfu is showing a steady improvement.
The 68-year-old woman, who is now the only patient from Corfu, is showing a steady improvement in her health according to today's (21/4) update from Ioannina University Hospital.
The first Corfu patient was discharged yesterday (20/4) and returned to the island following three weeks' hospitalisation in Ioannina.
Today's update:
1. One coronavirus patient from Ioannina continues to be hospitalised in the Step Down Unit. He is intubated and has shown steady improvement.
2. An older patient from Arta is hospitalised in the ICU - his condition is stable.
3. One coronavirus patient continues to be hospitalised in the negative pressure room in the Infectious Diseases Unit - the widow of the patient from Corfu who died. Her condition is improving steadily.
4. The patient from Corfu who had been hospitalised in the Infectious Diseases Unit was discharged yesterday, 20 April as he was in good health. He was taken home to Corfu by ambulance and remains in isolation and under observation.
5. Between 18th and 20th April the Ioannina University Lab tested 55 new samples, 9 from Corfu General Hospital and the remainding 46 from Epirus hospitals. All tested negative.
