78 lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands over the four days of Easter

CORFU. From Good Friday to Easter Monday 61 lockdown fines were issued in Corfu.
There were 78 lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands over the four days of Easter. Police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada are continuing with daily checks to ensure the lockdown measures are being adhered to.
From Friday 17th to Monday 20th there were 78 violations, which were each fined 150 Euros, as follows:
Corfu - 61 (48 pedestrians / 13 drivers & passengers)
Zakynthos - 7 (1 pedestrian / 6 drivers & passengers)
Cephalonia - 5 (1 pedestrian / 4 drivers & passengers)
Lefkada - 5 (1 pedestrian / 4 drivers & passengers)
Since the measures came into force on Monday 23 March there have been 2,997 violations.
The police checks are ongoing in order to safeguard public health.
