Central Corfu Municipality donates hygiene items to Corfu Prison΄s Second Chance School

CORFU. Mayor Meropi Ydraiou presented the Director of the School Kyriakos Kolesis with gloves, disposable masks and antiseptic.
The Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality donated personal protection equipment to Corfu Prison's Second Chance School today, Thursday 16 April.
This afternoon the Mayor presented the Director of the School Kyriakos Kolesis with gloves, disposable masks and antiseptic.
The Director updated the Mayor on the school's activities and Ms. Ydraiou took the opportunity to congratulate the school on its initiative to make face masks using its 3D printer and scanner.
3D printing had already begun at the prison but following the decision to close the school the project was continued outside the correctional facility. The equipment has been moved to the homes of the teaching staff and with the aid of members of the Alternative Cultural Workshop the manufacture of the sanitary equipment has continued.
