Condition of Corfu patients in Ioannina satisfactory - all samples test negative

IOANNINA. Update for Thursday 16 April from Ioannina University General Hospital.
Two coronavirus patients continue to be hospitalised in the negative pressure room in the Infectious Diseases Unit.
- The first came from Corfu General Hospital and his condition is improving in a very satisfactory way.
- The second is the widow of the patient from Corfu who died. Her condition is improving steadily.
- The young man from Ioannina who was hospitalised in the Infectious Diseases Unit was discharged yesterday in good health.
One coronavirus patient from Ioannina continues to be hospitalised in the Step Down Unit. He is intubated and has shown steady improvement.
An older patient from Arta is hospitalised in the ICU - his condition is stable.
The Ioannina University Lab tested 42 new samples yesterday, 7 from Corfu General Hospital, 2 from Lefkada General Hospital and the remainding 33 from Epirus hospitals. All tested negative.
