IOANNINA. Daily update from Ioannina University Hospital.
According to the hospital update:
Three coronavirus patients continue to be hospitalised in the negative pressure room in the Infectious Diseases Unit.
- The first came from Corfu General Hospital and his condition has improved.
- The second is from Preveza. Until he was admitted to the Unit, had been under observation at home. His condition is stable.
- The third is the widow of the patient from Corfu who died. Her condition has stabilised.
The Ioannina University Lab tested 63 new samples yesterday, Tuesday. 62 were from Epirus hospitals and were negative. One sample was sent from Corfu General Hospital and was tested positive. Following an evaluation by the hospital scientific committee and according to EODY guidelines, the patient remains in quarantine in his home and is under observation.
