ATHENS. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Greece is now 1,755, 90 of whom are intubated in ICUs.
There were 6 deaths and 20 new confirmed cases in Greece today, Monday 6 April, according to Sotiris Tsiodras, the Ministry of Health representative for coronavirus.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,755, 55% of whom are males.
361 are arrivals from abroad and 655 are from contacts with known cases.
A total of 26,193 tests have been carried out.
According to Prof. Tsiodras, 90 patients are intubated in ICUs - the average age is 65 and 79% are males. 71% of these patients have underlying conditions or are very old.
To date there have been 79 deaths in Greece with an average age of 73. 86% of these had underlying conditions or were very old.
