62 pedestrians and 40 drivers fined for lockdown violations in Corfu

CORFU. There were 117 violations in the Ionian Islands on Sunday.
Police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada are continuing with checks to ensure the lockdown measures are being adhered to.
According to the police, 117 fines were issued for lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands on Sunday 5 April.
Corfu - 102 (62 pedestrians & 40 drivers)
Lefkada - 5
Zakynthos - 10
Since the measures came into force on Monday 23 March there have been 1,649 violations.
The police checks are ongoing in order to safeguard public health.
