ATHENS. The Ministry of Health posted the Sunday coronavirus figures for Greece on its website.
There were 62 new confirmed cases of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Greece on Sunday, taking the total to 1,735 of whom 54.9% are males.
352 (20.3%) are from arrivals from abroad and 617 (35.6%) are from contacts with known cases.
93 patients are intubated, with an average age of 65. 21 (22.6%) of these are female and 68.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70 years of age. 10 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
There were 5 deaths, taking the total for the country to 73, 21 (28.8%) of whom were females. The average age of those who have died is 74 and 83.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70 years of age.
A total of 25,453 tests have been carried out.
