CORFU. 117 lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands.
Police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada are continuing with checks to ensure the lockdown measures are being adhered to.
According to the police, 117 fines were issued for lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands on Friday 3 April.
Corfu - 90 (51 pedestrians & 39 drivers)
Cephalonia - 14 (4 pedestrians & 10 drivers)
Lefkada - 8 (6 pedestrians & 2 drivers)
Zakynthos - 5 (drivers & passengers)
Since the measures came into force on Monday 23 March there have been 1,423 violations.
The police checks are ongoing in order to safeguard public health.
