ATHENS. The total number of deaths in Greece from COVID-19 is 59 - The total number of confirmed cases is 1,613 and 92 patients are tubed in ICUs.
There were 6 deaths from COVID-19 in Greece today, Friday 3 April, and 99 new confirmed cases according to today's update from Prof. Sotiris Tsiodras on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
The total number of deaths in Greece is now 59, of whom 49 were males.
The total number of confirmed cases is now 1,613, 119 of which are on the cruise ship 'Eleftherios Venizelos' which is docked in Greece.
According to Prof. Tsiodras, of the total number of confirmed cases, 335 are connected with travel abroad and 563 are from contact with previous coronavirus cases.
The average age of the 92 patients who are tubed is 66 and 70% of them have other underlying conditions. Up to now,11 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
22,437 COVID-19 tests have been carried out to date.
