Improvement in condition of first Corfu coronavirus patient

CORFU. People that the two cases had been in contact with in Corfu have been traced. Both those that are asymptomatic and those with mild symptoms have been told by the health authorities to self-isolate at home.
There has been an improvement today, Friday, in the condition of the first patient from Corfu, who is hospitalised with coronavirus pneumonia at the Infectious Diseases Unit in Ioannina University Hospital.
The other patient from Corfu remains tubed in the Intensive Care Unit of the same hospital.
As has already been reported, the wife of the second patient has been admitted to Corfu General Hospital and a PCR sample was taken, which has been sent to be tested at the liquid biopsy lab in Ioannina.
The results from this and another 15 tests are expected today. At the moment, there are five patients with suspect coronavirus symptoms at the hospital being monitored.
