CORFU. Checks continuing to ensure lockdown measures are being adhered to.
Police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada are continuing with checks to ensure the lockdown measures are being adhered to.
154 fines were issued for lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands on Thursday 2 April.
Corfu - 116
Cephalonia - 17
Lefkada - 9
Zakynthos - 8
51 of the violations were by pedestrians and 103 by vehicles.
Since the measures came into force on Monday 23 March there have been 1,306 violations.
The police checks are ongoing in order to safeguard public health.
