CORFU. There were 140 lockdown violations in the Ionian Islands on Wednesday 1 April.
According to figures from the Ionian Islands Regional Police, there were 93 lockdown violations in Corfu on 1 April.
The total number of violations in the Ionian Islands was 140, all of which were fined. Apart from the 93 in Corfu there were 28 in Zakynthos, 11 in Lefkadaand 8 in Cephalonia.
According to the police press release, the checks are continuing in order to safeguard public health.
