Two more deaths from coronavirus in Greece

A 64-year-old at Patras University Hospital and a 78-year-old at Athens Sotiria Hospital.

According to ERT, a 64-year-old from Achaia who had coronavirus died at the University Hospital in Rio, Patras this morning.

Not long after that, another man died at Athens Sotiria. According to Open TV, the 78-year-old, the 17th fatality in Greece, had serious underlying health problems.

The Ministry of Health spokesman Sotiris Tsiodras, Professor of Infectious Diseases, announced that a total of 624 people in Greece have been infected by coronavirus.

Most of the confirmed cases are in Athen and 55.7% of all the cases are males.

The average age of those who have died is 77.

The average age of those hospitalised is 64 and that of those who are tubed is 67.

Finally, 19 of those hospitalised have been discharged from hospital.
