Reduction in frequency of KTEL bus services until further notice

For services on the island there will be Sunday service every day.

For services to and from Athens and Thessaloniki, at this time (20/3) the following apply:

Athens to Corfu - 11:45 and 21:00
Corfu to Athens - 08:15 and 20:15
Thessaloniki to Corfu - 09:30
Corfu to Thessaloniki - 08:15

Please note that following today's announcement by the Ministry of Maritime and Island Policy, travel to the islands is restricted to permanent residents and transportation of provisions.

Passengers need to be aware of the capacity allowed on the buses - there is a clear instruction that no more than 50% of seats must be filled. Once that number have been filled no more tickets can be issued.

In any case, for public health reasons, the underlying principle is 'Stay at Home' and members of the public are obliged to avoid movement if there isn't a serious need.
