CORFU. In a post on Facebook Corfu General Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis asked for people to stop spreading fake news.

Irresponsibility and misinformation with unfounded rumours are just as dangerous as the virus. Those who are spreading misinformation in these difficult times need to be called to account.
The test results that have just come from Athens University labs are all negative.
I would like to thank all the medical, nursing and administrative personnel and all the hospital staff for the difficult battle that they are fighting at the moment.
I appeal to all members of the public to stay at home and not to come to the hospital unless there is a serious need.
Together we can do it - with responsibility and not irresponsibility.
