CORFU. The accident happened this evening at the junction of Marasli and Zafiropoulou at the Glass Tower.
A young motorcyclist is in extremely critical condition following an accident at the junction of Marasli and Zafiropoulou by the Glass Tower and the Fire Station.
The accident involved a private car and a motorbike with the motorcyclist being seriously injured despite, according to eye witnesses, the fact that he was wearing a helmet.
The young man was taken by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital, where doctors are fighting to save his life as his condition is said to be extremely critical.
