Corfu scouts set up tents at Gouvia summer campsite

CORFU. The invaluable experience of the Corfu scouts was called upon to set up the tents for the Gouvia summer camp.
The large old 10-person tents needed the know-how of the scouts, who, of course, enthusiastically responded to the request from the Municipality. An example of 'Be Prepared' in action!
The 'Stamatios Desyllas' Summer Camp at Gouvia Bay will be open from 25 July to 25 September for children aged 6 - 16 who are in need of holidays, chilldren with special needs, elderly (whether or not they are at an Old People's Home) and adults with special needs.
There will be 5 periods available:
1. Thursday 25/7 to Saturday 3/8 - 10 days for those with special needs and children aged 6 - 16.
2. Tuesday 6/8 to Thursday 15/8 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.
3. Sunday 18/8 to Tuesday 27/8 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.
4. Friday 30/8 to Sunday 8/9 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.
5. Wednesday 11/9 to Friday 20/9 - 10 days for the elderly.
