Grief at the tragic death of Angelos Vlachopolous

CORFU. Funeral to be held at 17:00 on Saturday at the Church of Agios Spyridon in Vasilatika village.
Corfu is in mourning following the premature demise of Angelos Vlachopoulos in the road accident in Benitses.
The leader of the political party Ionios Simahia Spyros Spyrou sent his condolences saying, "We feel deep sadness at the loss of Angelos. There are no words to express our grief at his early death. We respected and loved Angelos who always acted with integrity and dignity in our party's recent election campaign. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. The Ionios Simahia and I are standing by them in their bereavement. It is tragic for such a young person to lose his life."

The Asteras family would like to express its deep sadness and sincere condolences to the family of Angelos Vlachopoulos, who left us at such a young age. Angelos will always be linked with Petriti and especially with Asteras which he served for many years and together with the team won many titles. He also travelled with Asteras throughout Greece and led them to Football League II. Have a good journey Angelos - we will always remember you.
