CORFU. The Citizens΄ Initiative for the promotion and protection of Vidos Island invites everyone to come to the island on Saturday 29 June.
Departure from Cafe Yiali at 18:30 and return at 20:30 - free shuttle.
In its invitation the Citizens' Initiative says, "As the municipal shuttle boats still haven't started operating and there will be no municipal summer camp yet again this year, we are inviting the Corfu public to come and visit the island, take a walk, think about and discuss the present and the future of Vidos Island.
Vidos is a place for recreation and is also a historical memorial. It is a public place and belongs to the people of Corfu - a paradise just a few minutes from the town. It needs our interest and care - let's all be there!"
The Citizens' Initiative includes the following up to now (in alphabetical order):
