40-year-old woman seriously injured in road accident near the airport

CORFU. A 40-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries in an accident on the road to the airport on Friday afternoon.
The woman was a passenger on a motorbike which hit a bus coming in the opposite direction. She is currently in the ICU at Corfu Hospital and, according to the Director Fivos Kakavitsas, needs to be transferred immediately to a Level 3 hospital because of the seriousness of her injuries.
The motorcyclist is also hospitalised with fractures.
