40% increase in passenger arrivals at Corfu Port for Easter 2019!

The feeling that there were larger numbers visiting the island this year over the 4-day Easter period has been confirmed by the data from Corfu Port. Between Holy Wednesday and Easter Saturday there was a 39% increase in people arriving at the port - 40% in those arriving by car and 39% in those arriving by bus. The numbers at Lefkimmi Port were approximately the same as last year.

The only blot, according to visitors, was the endless queues at Igoumenitsa Port, where some passengers had to wait up to eight hours before boarding the ferry for Corfu.
