Holy Thursday means...the final rehearsal for the Epitaphios! Even before the Epitaphios processions have begun on Good Friday, the historical centre of Corfu Town is filled with the music of funeral marches on the evening before.
Every year Corfiots and thousands of visitors gather outside the Philharminic Society building - even just for a few minutes - to listen to the Adagio that the bands will play at the Epitaphios on Good Friday.
