Approval for oxygen production unit at Corfu Hospital funded by Interreg

CORFU. The 6th Health Region approved and signed the contract for the establishment of an oxygen production system in the Ionian Islands and Epirus hospitals as part of the Interreg programme.
The hospital administration said that the signing of the contract comes after 2 years in which a study was completed in line with corresponding studies in neighbouring countries.
There will be guaranteed funding from Interreg and invitations for tender will go out shortly thus allowing the hospitals in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Filiates to have their own medical oxygen and thus save on the purchase and transport costs that they have had to now.
