Two Corfu women given life imprisonment for Emporiki Bank fraud

CORFU. The Felony Appeals Court sentenced two Corfu women to life imprisonment.
They were charged with forgery and credit institution fraud. The two women, one of whom was a bank employee, were sentenced for fraud they had committed together in 2007 at the former Emporiki Bank in order to obtain a loan.
They were sentenced under Law 1608/1950 for public embezzlement.
