CORFU. Lefkimmi residents continued their protests against the licensing of the Lefkimmi residual landfill.
Furious Lefkimmi residents wreaked havoc at the Regional Offices. Following a meeting between members of the Lefkimmi Cultural Society board and Deputy Regional Governor for Corfu Nikoletta Pandi there was pandemonium when residents burst into the office of the Environmental Services.
Police used chemicals and one man suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital.
